The number of births predicted for January 1st, 2019 is 395,000, according to UNICEF data published today.
” A quarter of them are born in South Asia, where India leads 70,000, followed by 45,000 and Nigeria with 26,0008x1>, says U's statement. NICEF.
These babies, for the most part, will not receive adequate medical assistance”, stressed U n NICEF, adding that during 2018 about one million babies died the day they were born, while another 2.5 million died within a month of coming to life. Most of them died from further cases.
