Zaev's warning: Vote against referendum would annul agreement with Greece

Macedonia's prime minister, Zoran Zaev, has stated that in the event the referendum results, on September 30th, results in a vote more “against” than “for”, then he will cancel the agreement with Greece on the name dispute. “Most citizens will decide how MPs will act. They will decide who [...]
The majority of citizens will decide how MPs will act. Those who vote will decide, those who don't vote will not be counted. If there's gonna be one more vote against it, we'll cancel the deal. Whether the majority is for whom we should expect that MPs regardless of whether they are in power or opposition to continue the process according to the will of citizens”, Zaev has declared.
The government head said he believes the referendum will be successful, as it comes to the future of the state and called on leaders of all parties to declare how they will act on referendum day.
Our decisions, mine, Dimitrov's (Nicola) will be of no value if the people don't vote. This is the beauty of the referendum. The promise to organise the referendum stems from the VMMO- The DPMNE since 12 years ago, and we as LSDM have accepted it, and it is good to keep that promise. On page 295 of the VMRO- The DPMNE writes that only citizens in the referendum will bring the decision, and I agree to 100 per cent. I agree with VMRO and believe that's how we will do it on referendum day. I'll vote for you. Other leaders should also show their positions, as we lead political subjects, our responsibility is to make decisions and they must know citizens”, Zaev declared.
The opposition VMRO-DPMNE remains in the until now position that citizens are left alone to decide how to act in the referendum, not inviting them to vote or vote on September 30th.
