He has praised institutions and citizens, who, according to him, proved to belong to the European family.
I commend citizens for this holiday. Citizens showed that they belong to a high culture and proved to belong to the large European family. I also commend institutions for organising a process without serious incidents. Citizens laid the foundations of European Macedonia”, Xhaferi has declared.
The head of the Macedonian Parliament has failed to vote in this referendum today, and for that it says it was due to technical problems on election lists.
And the fact is, I haven't voted in a common poll in Gostivar, and I use this opportunity to declare it because the possibility of possible technical concessions on the election list has been a reason not to exploit my civic right. I think the weight of the vote equals that of citizens. This is a technical launch of institutions. But that doesn't change what the purpose is of voting and voting process”, Xhaferi said.
Macedonia today has ruled for or against NATO and EU membership, as well as changing the name of the state, under the agreement reached with Greece.
