A year ago, Harvey Weinstein was exposed as a sexual abuser. Until then, his treatment of women was an open secret among some publicists of the film industry, lawyers and journalists. Mr. Weinstein was protected from an unprecedented assumption that in some situations a powerful man can set his own rules. During the past year that speculation has been resolved with a welcome speed. In every aspect of life, powerful people have gone away by force and not just to America.

Recently Brett Kavanaugh may be denied a place in America's highest court as a result of a series of accusations saying he committed sexual assault several decades ago as a student. What started on a acting couch has reached the bench of the Supreme Court. This is progress. And yet, the fate of movement #even I still depend on America's balances, where it started and where it had the greatest effect. To see why, just look at Mr. Kavanaugh who, as we went to the press, was obliged to testify on the Senate Justice Committee along with Christine Blasey Ford, his main accuser. The good news is that the appetite for change is profound; the bad news is that male predator to women risks becoming another battlefield in the consumer wars of American cultures. Thanks to the movement #even me, women's evidence is at least getting a little more serious.

For a long time when a woman spoke against a man, suspicion turned her back. In 1991 when Anita Hill accused Christine Thomas, now a judge in the Supreme Court of sexual sexual abuse, his defenders offended him by naming him “as a little bitch.” The machine that supports Mr. Kavanaugh is similarly defined. However, she has refrained from questioning Mrs. Blasey Ford. In 2018, voters would take this as unacceptable. Male abuse is getting more serious, too. Mr. Weinstein is accused of committing dozens of sexual assaults, including rape. The contrast between his brutality and his impunity shocked the world by its complacency. This week Bill Cosby, once the most paid actor of America, was imprisoned as accused of being a violent sexual predator. But female colleagues in workplaces across America are damaged by abuse, which few separate from rape. Thanks to #even me, these acts are more likely to be punished now.

Most of Mr. Kavanaugh have focused on his pre-fulfil innocence; 30 years ago they would have insisted that the careless actions of a 17-year-old drunk are a fuss for nothing. These changes reflect a broad social change. One concern is that there may be a gap between corporate rhetoric and reality. Another concern is uncertainty about what is called evidence. This is broad because the evidence of an abuse circumstance often consists of something that happened in closed - door environments and in many cases long ago. To find a balance between the accuser and the accused is difficult. Mrs. Blasey Ford has the right to be heard, but Mr. Ford has that right. Kavanaugh.

Mr. Reputation. Kavanaugh is in danger, but the Supreme Court's reputation is also at stake. In measuring these competitive claims, the burden of evidence must be reasonable. Mr. Kavanaugh is facing, not a trial that would cost his freedom, but a job interview. The standards of evidence should be in a lower way. No courts, no natural justice is served by haste. It takes a decade or so for social behavioral structures to change. ♪ I'm just a year old too. It's not about sex more than it does about power -- how power is distributed and how people are held responsible when abused by power.

After all, therefore, #I too will be transformed into discussions about the lack of female veterans from companies and the medium-profit spaces between male and female employees. A protection against abuse is for young women to work in an environment that other women help create and maintain. Conservators often mourn the role Hollywood plays in the moral minimation. With #I too, Tinseltown has unwittingly promoted a movement to equality. It could result in the most powerful force for establishing a more fair ratio between men and women since the establishment of voting rights.
