The Institute for International Security in Serbia considers the international community should not be silent in the face of Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Wessel's statements concerning Serbian President Alexander Vuciq's visit.
Wessel, in a statement, has said that Wuchic does not have to visit Gazivoda.
For this, there have been numerous reactions from Serbian officials. The latest is the Institute for International Security in Serbia, which, through a statement, have said they do not understand the silence of the international community in front of this statement, writes Tanjug, broadcast Periscopi.
They say that Wessel's statement should react to the United States and the European Union because the declaration poses an unprecedented threat to a president.
“If the European Union and the United States do not react to Wessel's threats and to his hate-filled speech, we are afraid that Serbia could lose confidence in Western democratic values and institutions, as well as our partners, will discourage Serbia from furthering strategic interests that also involve European integration”, Orhan Dragash, director of this institute, said.
In contrast, to Wessel's statement, Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic has reacted yesterday, who has said that if something happens to Vuciqi in Kosovo, after Veselin's statements, then Serbia will know who is guilty of it./Periscopi/
