The Social Democrat Party invites all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia to participate in the consultative referendum for the adoption of the Prespa Agreement. Implementation of this agreement between Macedonia and Greece has particular importance for the necessary regional co-operation, in equality conditions and according to good neighbourly principles.
The September 30th day should also be a popular response to the chauvinist and oppressive elites in both countries, which use the question of Macedonia's name for almost 30 years to hide and legitimise their exclusive, explosive and discrimination policies.
September 30th Day must prove that only progressive approach and progressive policies guarantee lasting peace and equal growth for all.
The referendum on the issue of Macedonia's new name is also a responsibility for the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, for speeding up reforms that would turn the state of citizens, and that would develop towards the creation of an inclusive constitutional and political environment; which enables freedom and prosperity and guarantees solidarity and justice for all.
