Pristina municipality with new school year announcement

According to the announcement, the Municipal Education Directorate (DKA) has thanked all those who have shared material tools for repairing and modernising many gardens and schools.

“How We assure you that all students at the level of compulsory education are involved, by no means forgetting children with special needs and different groups. The challenge itself for the entire Kosovo educational system remains the overloaded program for children of lower classes, the plan -- the one that follows very heavily for them.

May all students and teachers wish for a successful school year. In particular, we wish first-class students, who sit for the first time in the school bank from tomorrow, said the municipality's announcement.

On Monday, September 3rd, the new school year begins 2018/2019. As a municipality, we've engaged with all of our institutional capacities. We're providing conditions for the start of a good year, at 73 institutions of different school levels, with 4400 children. Major investments have been made in most school institutions to prepare school infrastructure.

A Special Praise Goes to Organization T IKA, which along with funds provided by the mayor of the municipality, has changed the internal appearance of the school “Elena Gjika”; Japan's office, which has made serious investments at the school “Fik Konica”; but also many other international organisations, with which we have signed agreement on investment in the months and years to come.

Our focus will be on building new gardens and schools, for which millions of investments have now been provided, and reforming professional schools that will be able to prepare frameworks for the labour market. In this plan, we are in the phase of preparing projects for several areas of work, such as electrotechnica, tourism and hotels, medical, construction, agribusiness, etc. With powerful German, Austrian and Swiss organizations.

Thus we are taking decisive steps about preparing the ground for dual education. I'm working with all the capacities to ensure the mechanisms for raising quality in education, enabling teachers to implement the New Curiocular Framework and in the area of assessment where the most obstacles are marked.

This cannot happen without providing adequate school material, especially textbooks, in which serious problems with tire content are recorded. Like the AKA, we assure you, all students will be involved at the level of compulsory education, in no way forgetting children with special needs and different groups.
