Sulejman Ugljanin's political group a few days ago announced their participation in elections for the list-list Bosniak National Council “for the unity of Bosniaks Dr. Sulejman Ugljanin”, but then Ugljanin decided to change the name of the list and renamed it to “Dr. Sulejman Ugljanin”, writes Sputnik.
Sputnik further writes that, by chance or not, the name “Vetevendosje” is carried and the most radical party in the Kosovo Parliament, led by Albin Kurti. This party is known for the incidents its members repeatedly undertake in both parliament and the streets.
Vladimir Djukanovic, a member of the SNS leadership, has said Ugljanin works very seriously, especially in view of his aspirations that Sandzak belongs to the so-called “Greater Albania”.
It has long been working in a process for the Albanianisation of Bosniaks in Sjenica, Tutti and Novi Pazar, and has a serious plan and programme on how to accomplish this. Certainly the name of his list was created according to Kurti's Kosovo party model, as well as a tendency to say Sandzak has the right to split. Ugljanin was born in southern Mitrovica and intends to follow the example of his idol, Saqif Efendiu, for this part of Serbia to melt into Greater Albania”, Djukanovic says.
Miroslav Parovic, president of the Nationalist Movement, is convinced that Ugljanin wants to put pressure on Serbia.
“in the Raska region among Bosniaks has a story that Sulejman Ugljanin is of Albanian origin, which is part of the explanation why his list name got the name of the extremist party of Albanians from Kosovo”, Parovic says.
