The following images of members of the Kosovo Liberation Army committing crimes are cut off from the Macedonian film sequence “Moring of Christ”.
In this film, the Kosovo Liberation Army is represented as an army that promotes religious conflicts and exercises terror against civilians.
This film, in addition to distorting the history of the KLA war, also promotes interethnic hatred.
And so has the KLA War Veterans' Organisation.
Its chairman, Hysni Guxati, says this film could influence, create a negative image for the pure war of the KLA.
We've heard of what the state made. For us it's unacceptable and punishable for what it has nothing to do with the war of the KLA, all are their monsters”, says about RTV Dukagjin, Hysni Guxati.
Guxati adds that this film will also affect the reports of Albanians and Macedonians who live together.
The “must react to all institutions of the Republic of Kosovo not to be tarnished by the Kosovo Liberation Army. It is not true that the Kosovo Liberation Army has committed crimes, genocide or has had ties to religion. We didn't even have anything to do with religion”, let's say Hysni Guxati.
Director Ismet Sijarina said such films produce propaganda, and do not succeed.
“Consistent that such works “artistic”, which fabricate propaganda, do not have as much success as this film <x1x3>, Ismet Sijarina said.
The film that distorts historical truth is financed by Macedonia's Film Agency by 300 thousand Euros.
