“As for the current situation in Kosovo, KFOR is working in co-ordination with Kosovo institutions and the Kosovo Police for the security of the president of Serbia. No one will threaten Mr. Vucin and his security are guaranteed. Regarding the protest on the road to Bana, KFOR is in close contact with the Kosovo Police in order to remove blockades and return freedom of movement. KFOR is working to do it peacefully, but is ready to intervene in line with its mandate, in a third response, if required”, the communiqué sent to the media says.
