Those comments he gave today during the opening of the conference <x0-Days of the media Union -- the Western Balkans” -- which is taking place in Macedonia's capital.
In his presentation, Hahn said violence against journalists in the Western Balkan countries has not been averted, but, according to him, it has increased.
Further in his speech, he called for mechanisms of justice to do more.
Media freedom cannot exist without an independent judiciary, Hahn stressed.
