The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced public opinion that Germany will not yet recognise Kosovo patents.
MPB Information Office Director Roxana Charles has said in a proposal for Indexline that the Macedonian Interior Minister's statement has been misinterpreted by portals.
According to her, the procedure for such a thing has been initiated but there is still no concrete in this regard.
Macedonian Minister for Alsat M's “Declaration says: The Republic of Macedonia is close to reaching agreement with Kosovo and Germany in terms of mutual recognition of patents. The MPB has announced that with the Republic of Macedonia, it is in its final phase and very soon is expected to sign the agreement on mutual recognition of patents. And with the Federal Republic of Germany, MPB in co-operation with the Kosovo Embassy in Berlin has initiated the procedure, but there is still no official confirmation”, he said. q ARRI.
According to her, Minister Bejtush Gashi and MPB's priority is to recognise patent partners not only from Germany's Federal Republic but other EU states with which they intend to sign bilateral agreements.
