Kosovo to spend 2.6m euros on luxury jeeps

Kosovo institutions in the coming days are expected to spend more than 2.6m euros on the purchase of 71 luxury jeeps, as well as 15 cars per traveler. Also, from the beginning of this year and so far the institutions have rented about 400 other cars for which they will pay about 10m euros, writes the newspaper “Zer” today.

More than 2.6m euros will be spent on the country's institutions for the purchase of 71 luxury jeeps for the Kosovo Police, for the Kosovo Security Force, as well as 15 travel vehicles and where a budget of about 2m and 620 thousand euros has been envisioned for the purchase. Also, the newspaper “Voice” reported days ago that over the next 60 months the country's institutions will pay about 10m euros for about 400 vehicles that have been rented for the needs of the Government, the Assembly, but also for independent institutions operating in our country.

Also sources of the newspaper “Voice” within the Central Procurement Agency (AQP), the institution which organises joint procurements for all institutions funded by Kosovo's budget, says that every day and more are increasing the demand of institutions for rent, but also for purchase of new vehicles.

In the tender file prepared by the Central Procurement Agency (AQP), which has been provided by the newspaper “Voice”, it is said the contract is divided into five (5) parts (time). Through the first tear is designed to buy 15 vehicles per traveler, where a budget of 300 thousand euros is envisioned for the second tear and where a budget of another 320 thousand euros is envisioned for the third tear to be bought, and for their purchase, there are 180 thousand euros in advance for Lot, the fourth is the purchase of 45 jeeps, and for which there are between 1 million and 440 euros, as well as for the fifth tear, are the first purchase of 12 thousand euros. /Sound/.
