This Sunday she and other people crossed the beach in Durres. Not by resting, but by cleaning up wasted waste from daily vacationers.
We're doing volunteer work. We're English, American, German, Austrian and Albanian, and we're not just here to clean up, because within two weeks it can be restored to its former state, but also to awareness people and change the mentality of putting away waste. They see us and reflect”, Alice said.
Many who were resting on today's small beach in the morning, as they watched the group clean, have remembered their voluntary Sunday - year allowances in the years of monism. Others, though few, joined the group in cleaning up the beach of plastic and other urban wastes.
A group of tourists who felt bad as they saw us working joined us. We hope that even the local government and government will also react to doing more in this direction. People throw plastic everywhere, not knowing where it ends. It ends up at sea and threatens marine life. Fish eat fish. It's a bad situation”, the popular blogger says.
Under the motto “to do small things, with a lot of love”, this social group aims to extend volunteerism to the city of Berat and Lake Shkodra for the next period, by conveying important messages to all of us through work, to protect our environment and common life in the community.
