Henrik Nilsson, has been the head of the Swedish mission in Kosovo since September 2013, while the ambassador in office was in 2016.
Because of the five-year term, which is the maximum regular mandate for a foreign post, Nilsson will be replaced in September. As he will have a new task soon.
The ambassador will be Karin Nermarch Ahline.
It has been appointed by the Swedish government in May this year, and in Pristina it will be in office as of September 1st.
Recently, she served as deputy head of Mission at the Swedish Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa.
