The World Cup final ended and one of Croatia's biggest fans was in Moscow, President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.

Grabar-Kitarovic is Croatia's first female president to take office in February 2015.

Kolinda Grabar married Jakov Kitarovic in 1996, with whom he has two children.

Kitarovic had become part of a scandal in 2016 at the time his wife worked as Croatia's ambassador to the US.

He had used the embassy car for private purposes.

Despite that Kolinda Grabar -Kitarovic says she works 24 hours a day, she had paid her expenses after he used the car without authorization.
