Within the framework of this project are 144 concrete pillars for low tension, as well as 20 concrete pillars for medium tension. In addition, more than 4,000 meters of cables have been set up to distribute low blood pressure, as well as the new 630 kVA range.
The new network will significantly influence improvement and stabilisation with quality supply, loss reduction and stable tension.
KED spokesman Viktor Buzhala, says KEDS has worked with added intensity in Gjakova and is working throughout Kosovo with the aim of upgrading the power grid.
“In Dujaka, as across Kosovo KEDS has inherited an outdated electricity network and investment there has been a necessity and priority for us. 114 concrete pillars, new tratrusions, and all other accompanying materials are placed there. This investment will benefit 111 houses”, Buzhala said.
According to him, this investment is within the framework of the planning of the KED Plan, which envisions that by 2025 the entire country will have a modern electricity network, which will require about 300m euros in investments.
Simon Kolay, resident of Dujaca, says such an investment has been necessary.
Everything has been outdated by us. The poles have been placed and worked fast, cable and the entire air support system. This is necessary. We also expect underground investments in the future, according to our” needs, Kolaj says.
KEDB's investments in the Gjakova region have also welcomed the mayor of this municipality, Ardian Gjini. Weeks ago, he said he is satisfied with the investment projects of this company, which according to him maintain the balance of consumer needs in the city report. /Periscopi/
