Haradinaj at the London Summit: Kosovo is suitable for foreign investment

Kosovo already has the Strategic Investment Law, which creates facilities and good conditions for foreign investors. In that spirit, in the past six months Kosovo has established three separate economic areas, which include a 150 hectares territory ready to host foreign investors”, Haradinaj has said.
It has also cited plans to close “Kosovo A” and rehabilitate “Kosovas B”, complete all road projects linking key cities and plans for investing over 200m euros in co-finance with the EU for projects in railway infrastructure.
Haradinaj has also cited investments of 100m euros for projects dealing with sewage, projects for green cities, rural roads and water infrastructure projects and launching digitalisation agendas.
“All projects, linking Kosovo with Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Serbia, are evidence of our commitment to good neighbourly relations, regional co-operation, and all the work being done in Kosovo, are based on Euro-Atlantic values, and which is the way Kosovo is pursuing”, he has further said.
The first session also reported EU Commissioner for European Policy of Business and Negotia of Enlargement Johannes Hahn for the Vienna Economy Ministers' meeting and for which meeting, Haradinaj said Kosovo would stand behind the agreement on regional economic co-operation.
Grand Britain Prime Minister Theresa May, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz, prime ministers of other European states, EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Federica Moghrini are participating.
All participants in this Sam stressed the perspective of Western Balkan countries and their path of integration into the European Union, according to the government's announcement.
Haradinaj on the first day of the summit has presented Kosovo's projects, achievements and challenges the country has been facing since the start of the Berlin process, “stressing Kosovo's commitment to good neighbourly relations, sustainable economic development, and the European path as the only alternative”.
