The Kosovo Assembly failed last month to elect three new Albanian judges, on 22 May, the new competition for these positions was announced.
The Kosovo Assembly has announced that this competition, in which 16 people have applied, has already been closed. Meanwhile, their interview will take place during Wednesday and Friday of next week. Despite that, connoisseurs of the justice system consider that the work of the Constitutional Court will be “introduced” after June 15th, as there will be no possibility of making any decision. They have thus estimated that the recent act of this institution (which found that the Government's decision to raise wages for the government cabinet is not unconstitutional) is scandalous and contradictory.
