During a visit to Mantova, Italy, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Faton Thaci has held meetings with various businesses that have expressed interest in investing their capital in the Republic of Kosovo, namely in the agriculture sector.
Thaci has met with the owner of the factory “Gialograno”, Pierpaolo Cavaglier, where he is expected to come to Kosovo in the next month with concrete investments.
The Cavaglier is expected to invest in Kosovo in the fields of agriculture and forest and vegetable processing industry, which will generate new jobs and strengthen the agriculture sector.
With this step, producers will become aware by providing informative information and referrals, production capacity will increase, and will ensure the market of agro-cultural products.
Thaci showed Cavaglier the conditions Kosovo offers for a foreign investor, adding that a series of conditions have been adopted that provide facilities for foreign businesses that express a desire to invest their capital in Kosovo.
The deputy minister assured them that Kosovo has made progress in the field of foreign investments with the adoption of legal infrastructure, business and bisza conditions, as well as fiscal policies.
He is being accompanied by Agriculture Director in the Malisheva municipality, Murat Hoxha, who in this municipality is expected to have investments from Mantova businesses.
The delegation was under the escort of an exile living and working in Italy, Ragip Berisha, who has helped establish contacts with Italian businesses.
