State news agency “Anadolu Agency” said snakes were seen in the area called Karsin Kagizman, on the banks of the Aras River.
One of the residents, Fahrettin Sahin, said dogs had killed a snake that ran up to three meters [3 m], but many others continue to circulate in the area. “We're afraid of getting into the house and poisoning our children. Some villagers do not leave their homes out of fear. ”
