Pay bill does not envision a rise in pay conference for doctors

The odds of health workers taking advantage of the new wage law is minimal.

Doctors' requests that their salaries be levelled with judges, according to the Kosovo Medical Oda, were not taken into account during the draft of the bill by the Ministry of Public Administration, KTV reports.

The deputy chairman of this office says they have given their comments and analyses, but have not been taken into account.

However, the minister of Health is saying that he has done his best to benefit from this bill, although he has not yet seen the draft of it.

And in the wage bill, which is still in public consultation, the clinic management cofficiency has been proposed to be 4.20 for doctors 4, and 3.3 for general doctors. As far as judges and prosecutors are concerned, 7.50 is in advance.

KTV has also requested clarification from the Ministry of Public Administration, but this institution has given no answers.

Days ago, the Federation of Kosovo Health Unions has given the Kosovo government the ultimatum that within this month to proceed to the Parliament with the bill on wages, on the contrary, has warned collapses in this sector.

This federation had rejected the Public Administration Ministry's table for the leveling of wages for health workers.
