O'Connell said it was encouraging to see how Tahir described Jabir Zarko's case as shameful.
O'Connell also said that a good step would be to abolish the legal provisions that allow convicted criminals to avoid suffering punishment. According to him, this is a test of Kosovo's readiness to fight criminality in politics.

It is encouraging to see that Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri describes Jabir Zarko's case as shameful. Kosovo citizens deserve a concrete action to stop repeating similar cases in the future. We're willing to help. A good first step would be to abolish the legal laws which allow convicted criminals to avoid the torment.
