Related to this Tahiri statement, the Ambassador of Great Britain has also reacted to Kosovo, Ruairi O'Connell.
O'Connell said it was encouraging to see how Tahir described Jabir Zarko's case as shameful.
O'Connell also said that a good step would be to abolish the legal provisions that allow convicted criminals to avoid suffering punishment. According to him, this is a test of Kosovo's readiness to fight criminality in politics.

It is encouraging to see that Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri describes Jabir Zarko's case as shameful. Kosovo citizens deserve a concrete action to stop repeating similar cases in the future. We're willing to help. A good first step would be to abolish the legal laws which allow convicted criminals to avoid the torment. This is a test of Kosovo's readiness to fight criminality in politics.
