The Nation's road, although costing Albanians $1.3 billion, follows taking the parà from the state budget.
Errors in design and implementation, along with economic damage, have caused dozens of fatal accidents.
The route from Kukes to Morina envisioned the construction of seven works, bridges, and viads. Construction started in 2006 and, although we are in June 2018, the work is still not finished.

In recent weeks, the Albanian Road Authority has opened a tender for overhauling these parts. A RRSH has done a study and says the road is narrower than bridges and viads.
<x) Even part of the road from bridges to existing segment has not been made. In the meantime, failure to conclude the road has resulted in a series of fatal accidents.
“Fiksi” provided a new tender document opened by the ARSH, where it has allocated about $2 billion to connect the viads, so the unmade part.
After consisting of the problem, “Fiks Farhe” addressed the Albanian Road Authority with an official request, demanding: the total fund for regulation of 7 vias; what funds are being used, budget or private; and the total cost for Milot-Kalimash-Kukes-Morine road.
ARSH responded, saying that “work has been completed on duplication of 5 viads and 2 more are under way. In the Kukes-Morine segment, differences have been found in the quotas of duplicates being duplicated, from the street quota built between the years”.

According to her, the width of the viads is greater than the way it is implemented. There is a deterioration of the current state of layering, or the filling of the road to the entrance and exit of viaducts.
The construction of applications is being carried out by budget funds, and their construction value is $2 billion. Total cost with state budget funds for the Plain-Kalimash road, Kukes-Morine, is about $1.1 billion. The Milot-Rearcendment was built with World Bank funds worth $335m. The Calimash-Rejepaj Department is built with the funds of the Islamic Development Bank, worth $53m”, the ARSH says.

According to her, the total cost of the road amounts to 1.3 billion dollars!
Meanwhile, “Fikshe” asked a road engineer. Fetty Gitz said he did a study on this road years ago, which began before the 1990s. Regarding the project that was designed or implemented, he says it is sabotage. There are no parameters on the road, there are many curves and great slopes.
“Fiksi” also spoke to Kukes Mayor, who claimed that the government is committed to ironing out any problems within this year. /tch
