Today, the manual has been launched “Prohibiting violent-dorant extremism for teaching” from the Italian Embassy in Pristina, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The aim of this doracac is to provide instruction for teachers in Kosovo to address concrete challenges posed by violent extremism in the school environment.

The handle presents helpful and practical solutions to action, expressing how teachers can properly respond to challenging situations in a professional, legal, or other method of teaching.

Piero Cristoforo Sardi, Italy's ambassador to Kosovo, thinks fighting extremism requires great importance and must be well addressed for preventing violent extremism.

According to him, Kosovo has a framework for preventing this issue, while it has said there is a spread at the core of the manifestation of radicalism.

We as an Italian government are very important to support Kosovo's efforts in combating violent extremism and such a mitter is a very important tool because it reflects the joint efforts of the UNDP, our government, but also various ministries to counter this phenomenon..06?588x1> We have supported the development of this doctor for the teacher who, among other things, will further strengthen the application of the reference mechanism that is a pre-emptive mechanism that can be used when the students are talked with <2> he said.

The Italian ambassador further said his state would support Kosovo towards European integration.

Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqi, Bytyqi, said the doracaku will be the first step towards preventing radical extremism.

According to him, the doracac should not remain just a printed book but be preventative of youth from risking extremism.

The importance of education for preventing violent extremism is not limited to the Government of Kosovo's strategy for preventing violent extremism in education, but has also been advanced in the best practices of the UN and other international practices as essential for building youth protection against violent extremism ideologies....1045% this manual that we are offering to teachers throughout Kosovo is a technical guide to addressing the concrete challenges posed by violent extremism in our schools. As a doracac guide, it offers practical advice for teachers on how to deal with radicalism and violent extremism in a productive and direct way by representing opportunities for students to learn and grow”, Bytyqi said.

Ulrika Richardson, UN Coordinator for Development and Permanent Representative of the UNDP, has said there is a fine example here today of preventing extremism in schools.

The reason why young people are united and seduced by these ideas and ideology is because they think it's some kind of lack of discussion about these topics and they want to be part of a bigger thing, to understand something greater and feel more important, actually this glover offers a changer to teachers to engage in such discussions, but in a more constructive environment helps them to select a language of communication in order to understand what many difficult questions mean to young people in today's tense world, it expresses them.

Richardson stressing that Kosovo has the newest population, said this veto enables young people to form values of importance for Kosovo”, Richardson stressed.

The Internet, according to her, is important resources but can also be dangerous for young people.

While the Council of Shkodra, deputy minister of Internal Affairs, has also said that the Italian government's contribution, especially of the Italian Embassy, has yielded positive results in Gjilan, to this kind of campaign.

This is just one step in our joint efforts to prevent radicalism of our students, but at the same time the fulfillment of a previous activity in the strategy action plan to prevent violent extremism that leads to terrorism ... Surely the MPB has a duty to provide security and to protect its citizens, but it is only in co-operation with partners and citizens of this country. We are determined and have taken a series of important measures against terrorism and extremism, through legislative reform and concrete steps in preventative initiatives”, he said.

In the grip of recent years, it is said that there is a growing trend of violent extremism worldwide - cases that are not isolated only in one region or in one country but are present in many countries. For Kosovo, the risk of violent extremism is not only global, but also constitutes a local threat, which should be taken into account very seriously.

According to Kosovo Police statistics, a total of 360 Kosovars have travelled to Syria, of which 255 were fighters who joined violent extremist groups like I SIS. Of them 48 were women and 57 children. Also under this doracac about 36 children were born in the conflict area, which means 93 children still remain in conflict areas.
