This debate was organised in co-operation between the MAP, the Pec municipality, as well as the NGO Vision NGO, while participants were representatives of the Pec region's municipalities, representatives of civil society as well as the media.
In presenting to citizens of the Peja region, Public Administration Minister Mahir Jagcilar said the legal package of public administration reform constitutes pillars of the state, as it regulates key issues of the genuine and democratic functioning of public institutions in order to improve citizens' services, accountability and transparency of the state system.

Mr. Peja Community Chairman. Gazmend Muharnier, said the legal package of public administration reform, is an extraordinary initiative to regulate public administration to be transparent and accounting.
He said municipalities have an important role in implementing democratic processes and improving citizens' trust in the state, so the municipality of Pec supports such efforts for public administration reform.
Otherwise, MAP is organising debates in Kosovo municipalities not only to consult municipal institutions but also citizens and civil society in order to identify areas for improvement in these three bills to build powerful pillars of a democratic and functional state.
The Ministry of Public Administration has published on the public consultations platform the current drafts of the bills, and the two-week period will organise direct meetings throughout the region to inform and consult citizens, institutions, civil society and all parties concerned with bills in question.
