Telegrafi learns that the dead person is Xhavit Pepshi, who had lost control of the parachute by falling into the mountain.
The case has also been confirmed by Kosovo Police spokesman for the Pec region, Xhevat Ibra.
“Rasti has occurred around 13:30, police have received information for a 58-year-old injured in Kabashi's Livadhet in Istog. Police and the medical team have come to the scene, which has concluded that the person was without signs of life”, Ibra said.
Until now, the causes of the fall of Xhavit Peph are unknown.
The spokesman has stressed that on Monday, police will come out with a report on the case.
