22-year-old Tirana arrested, killed Russian girlfriend

Tirana police during an operation based on Montenegrin Police Information have enabled the capture of a Montenegrin citizen suspected of murder in Tirana.

Arsenije Stanović, 22, of Montenegro had entered Albania illegally.

Thanks to close co-operation with the Montenegrin Police and the timely exchange of information, it became possible to identify the location as well as apprehend it.

The 22-year-old allegedly killed a Russian national in Montenegro.

According to Montenegrin media, the young man had an intimate relationship with the Russian, Anastassia Lashmanova, who killed him with a knife, while there were severe blows on his head. The investigation involved a crime of passion.

On the part of the State Police, deportation to Montenegro was made to the young man, who has been taken over by Montenegrin police services.
