Western countries are trying to change the format of talks on Kosovo before the UN Security Council for a long time, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has declared.
The media have reported earlier that London may require that hearings on Kosovo be abolished or closed to the public, and the supposed goal is to move the Kosovo issue to “procedureary affairs personnel”, as Russia and China could not use a veto in that format.
“This is what Great Britain, America, France and all those who have known Kosovo for a long time. They say there are no problems in Kosovo, that there is no need for reports for six months, but that we will go to the plenary session ... They have been working for a long time and from their point of view have already completed the work for Kosovo”, Vuciq said.
The head of the Serbian state acknowledged that the upcoming period will be crucial and difficult.
I expect significant pressures, but we want to try to reach a compromise solution. It remains to be seen and wait for what they think to offer Serbia, and then we will make decisions,” said Vuciq.
In addition, he stressed that Russia has twice helped Serbia veto the UN Security Council and expects Russia's “open support” in the future.
We've been brought into a situation whatever you're doing you're going to kneel and everything you do is not good. So, in every bar in Belgrade, there are people who say Mourinho and Guardilla have no idea football ... What will be said only about Vucinac, because Kosovo is ours for millions of years and they will better negotiate”, Vuciq said.
