Ramiz Ladrovci on the 19th anniversary of the fall: Rasim Kicina, KLA pride

After the case's speech, Chief Secretary Kadri Veselinaj and Prime Minister Haradinaj, in his address, the chairman of the Drina municipality, Ramiz Ladrovci, stressed that today, when we honor the name, life and work of Rasim Kicina, we remember and simultaneously respect the names of his numerous allies, Ragip Halilaj, Ali Ajeti and the names of a glorious generation, closely linked to birth, development, political vision, military and strategic KLA activity.

Furthermore, in the case of the case, Ladrovci stressed that Kosovo in last century had passed through the glorious Age of the Kosovo Liberation Army, through the battles, offensives and numerous trials of 1998, 1999, breaking the myth of the Serbian army and police, reconfirming the incompetability of the freedom spirit of Kosovo. Rasim Kicina, Ladrovci stressed, belonged to the generation that best embodyd the human qualities set out for the liberation of the homeland.

With high moral and physical qualities, Rasim Kichina wherever she acted planted courage, courage, and trust among the soldiers. With his lyrical spirit, strong character, inborn bravery and intelligence, he radiated confidence, confidence and optimism even at the most difficult times”, Ladrovci stressed.

“Rasim Kicina was the typical representative of the KLA superior who stood out for solidarity with the soldier and citizen. As chief of the Drenica Operative Zone, he, along with many warriors, was a participant in protecting the Lapusnik Grasque in the days of furious offensives. His combative qualities were seen in the resistance of KLA units during the time of Serbian forces' offensives in the summer of 1998”, Ladrovci noted.

Rasim Kicina had firm faith in the fair fight of the KLA, was smart and intelligent, at any time has supported the decisions of the KLA's General Staff, the KLA delegation's decisions in Rambouillet, as well as the political vision of the Kosovo Interim Government, Ladrovci stressed, noting that his and Ragip Halilaj's fall, on May 30th 1999, was one of the greatest losses of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Ladrovci also recalled Ali Ayet's heroic fall on the same date, 10 years before Hero Rasim Kichina and Ragip Halilaj, one of the first fighters against Serbian occupation.
