Prices of bread, meat, and tobacco rise as opposed to last year

In April, however, a little more expensive was the price of electricity and trees.
The overall harmonised consumption prices in the country are unchanged 0.0% in April 2018, compared to March 2018. The slight freeze of prices is observed in subgroups: tree (1.1%); mineral water, nonalcohol drinks, juices from trees and vegetables (0.4%); electricity (2.5%); use of personal transport equipment (0.5%), with a common impact of these subgroups of 0.11%x1>, says the ASS report.
According to the Statistics Agency, the establishment was largely neutralised in subgroups: vegetables -1.7 percent; heating fire -5.3 percent, with a combined impact of these subgroups 0.1 percent in IHCH.
But unlike April of last year, in April of this year, according to the AKS, the inflation rate has increased by 0.4 percent.
According to the AKS, this is primarily explained in the rise of sub-group consumption prices: bread and cereals 1.9 percent; meat 0.5 percent; milk, cheese and eggs 1.5 percent; coffee and tea 3.4 per cent; tobacco 3.1 per cent; use of personal transportation equipment 2.0 per cent; services per cent increase of ticket prices by plane), with a combined impact of 0.9 per cent.
The price hikes were neutralised with the drop in sugar prices and sweets.
“The hike was neutralised, mainly by falling subgroup consumer prices: vegetables (-3.2%); sugar and candy (-9.0%); electricity, gas and other fuels (-1.5%) - tree-priced heating prices; household equipment (-3.5%); audio-visules, information processing cameras (-5.2%), with a common impact of these subgroups (-0.5%)”, the Statistics Agency explains.
