PDK ministers Abelard Tahiri and Besim Beqaj against Fatmir Limaj block projects for Malisheva

Two ministers of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Besim Beqaj of innovation and entrepreneurship, and Abelard Tahiri of Justice have not voted in favour of establishing the economic zone in Malisheva, blocking the process that the Ministry of Trade and Industry has launched. Today, at the Kosovo Government meeting, the Trade and Industry Ministry proposal for establishing the economic zone in Malisheva has opposed the two PDK ministers, thus turning out against the work of Minister Bajram Hasani, who is creating economic zones in all Kosovo cities.

The reasoning of these two ministers has been that it has financial implications, which does not stand because the MTI has fulfilled all financial obligations. MTI has carried out all the legal procedures the law provides, as requested for other economic areas. In reality, the obstacle for these two ministers -- Tahiri and Beqaj -- is Maliseva, since it is pre-emptive for this city to have investments, which did not happen by past governments.

We remember that the Ministry of Trade and Industry is investing in an economic area in the Year, Suhareka and Vushtrri, while it was requested by the chairman of Gjilan Lutfi Haziri, to find the space to make investment in this city.

At the same time, MTI is deputy chairman of the committee to establish the American Economic Zone. All these works have been done within the mandate of Minister Bajram Hasani, who comes from the Social Democrat Initiative.
