Minister Luka: If wage increases hurt KEK, we will take measures against board

Even though the Kosovo Energy Corporation has been raising its workers' salaries from 100 euros linearly, Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Luka has not done the same as the “Iobated Lpenci” for the dismissal of the board for salary growth.
KEK has distributed its 13th salary for management and the Board, as well as various orphans in succession for the staff of this public company, where the average salary is about 800 euros, however, Minister Luka said that if the KEK Board has damaged this energy enterprise with the recent salary raise for workers, measures should be taken against this board as well.
“It is the Board that deals with KEK, and in the end estimates the Board's performance, if the board has wrongly decided with salary increases and damaged KEK performance, then, as a result, measures should be taken against that board”, Minister Luka has said.
He has said KEK declared 10m euros in profits last year, but that the Government of Kosovo does not pay camels.
