McCain is fighting an aggressive form of brain tumor. The serious diagnosis, 81-year-old, was determined last July, and although subject to careful treatment, the disease has advanced significantly.
On Friday, her daughter Meghan wrote in “Twitter” that she would return to her family home in Arizona to stay with her relatives in what seems to be a difficult time for them.
Last month, the senator was admitted to the hospital with an intestine infection, and his health is currently quite fragile. With Trump, he's crashed several times, even publicly. The president was sharply criticised in 2015 when he mocked McCain's status as a Vietnam War hero.
He became a hero only because he was captured, then declared the Republican billionaire adding: I like people who don't get caught. In February, Trump again had an incident with the senator, who he mentioned as a person who voted against his Supreme Chamber colleagues.
McCain has not even launched an open attack on a series of issues, including his warnings of withdrawing American troops from Syria, which gave him wings according to Arizona Senator Bashar al-Assad and his Russian and Iranian supporters.
