The leader of the left-wing Spanish party épodemos and his partner have survived a vote of confidence after their decision to buy a luxury house, the BBC writes.
Pablo Iglesias and Irene Montero, the party's spokeswoman, were accused of hypocritical spending 600,000 euros in a luxury house and pool.
Iglesias had previously criticised politicians living in “vila”.
Some Podemos members have said that what the couple have done has reduced the party's credibility, Periscopi broadcasts.
