According to him, anyone who wants to lead the final phase of the dialogue should no longer allow new agreements, as Kosovo has already suffered a lot since “
Kosovo has fulfilled all its obligations and has shown much constructive, even to its detriment. Here should be the end of all that and from now on it should be talked only about state-state admission, so that we can communicate as neighbours. No other topics that complicate the process will be introduced. The topics that have been addressed there most have been internal for Kosovo and should not be discussed at all. They did damage. The biggest compromise has been the Ahtisaari draft, has been painful and there has been no need to add. There must be recognition of states mutually in order to move towards integration”, it is expressed in KTV's interactive.
Isufi has said the AAK wants to review all agreements reached so far in dialogue with Serbia.
“This is set limit. The important thing is to know there will be no easy talks. Serbia has made instructions during the talks. They have been interrupted and even caused problems within Kosovo by exploiting the Serb minority to destabilise the country. It has been exiled abroad not to allow recognition by international institutions. It is the end to no longer be allowed to play by Serbia”, Isufi has said. “The need for compromises, unless Kosovo is an independent state. The European Union should eventually show Serbia that it can no longer play with Kosovo. Here the Kosovo team must insist, so that it does not allow integrating”.
Isufi has also spoken of complaints by opposition parties that do not want President Hashim Thaci at the head of the Kosovo delegation.
“We are in the preparation phase to formulate the platform and have a team taking responsibility for the dialogue. Much of who is leading the talks, because it is known that President Hashim Thaci has taken care of these talks and that Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has pledged to carry out affairs in the government. It is also known that Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, leads the talks on the other side. However, the Parliament decides everything. It is better to debate and give the arguments why and then have common decision against Thaci. Every time there is political unity in relation to Serbia, we always do better. When there was harmony, there were always concessions or mistakes that we then paid dearly for”, Isufi added.
Isufi has also announced that political parties will continue with political tables in an effort to achieve unity on major topics. As for the opposition's request for early elections, Isufi has said that “this experiment is unnecessary”.
“All parties have internal issues that do not allow elections to be held and the government is functioning. The need for experiments because Kosovo is ahead of some important processes that must close as army, dialogue and liberalisation”, Isufi stressed.
