The SOS Children's Villages Foundation in Kosovo now operates 18 years, caring for more than 1,000 abandoned children, children who have lost parental care or who are at risk of losing parental care, and supporting families in need.
Thematics on this year on the global level is “Families and inclusive societies” that will consider the role of families and family policies in advancing the 16th Sustainable Development Target in terms of promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development.
The SOS Children's Villages already marks International Family Day and promotes topics of importance for the family.
