The metallural plant in Drenas has been more than a month since it's not producing, while workers are not working until the situation is improved there.
A few weeks ago, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj at a meeting with Ferronikli unionists said he will give you 2 million as the form of reimbursement.
There are two million to be repaid, once it is paid, but it returns to the national budget. I believe the solution will be found, because it's about 820 workers, about 550 thousand euros for wages, for a month, and it's two months in question, so I believe the solution to” will be found, Haradinaj said.
And the prime minister kept that word. The Kosovo government has already replenished the Ferrnikel factory in Drenas with over 400 thousand euros.
In a government response to Indexline, Ferronikli said two weeks ago this amount of money was repaid.
Kosovo's “in the Kosovo budget each year is forecasting the amount of means for reimbursement. There is no need for expenses because they are automatically descended from access to ATK and Dogana. Repaying is not a debt but a process. Two weeks ago Fernikon was repaid over 400,000 euros. The following requests are reviewed and realised after the assessment of the reasonableness on the part of ATK and Customs”, an electronic response to editorialisation is said.
The chairman of the Ferronic Union has also been contacted, Fehmi Nica, to see if the workers have been paid for the debt that the company has left for two months.
He has announced that all workers were paid yesterday for March, while it is expected that April's salary will be received next week.
In fact, the March pay has taken on growth as was the agreement.
All employees yesterday have received the March salaries, and April salaries are expected to be received in next week. For us as unions it is very important that the wage issue be carried out, as it concerns the interest of workers. Salaries have taken on increases, as has the union-management agreement, for salaries from a March to deal with growth, Nica has declared.
Although they have already received a return pay, it is not known when they will return to their jobs. This is because production has not yet begun.
“The start of production is management responsibility. So we hope that soon we start”, he added.
Workers have expressed satisfaction that one of the remaining debt salaries has been returned, but they hope to start the work with which they keep their families.
Otherwise, it has already been a month since this factory has stopped producing, but it is not known when it will begin.
