32 thousand euros in prison for casino without license from ATK (Photo)

The Department of Fate Games at the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) last night has taken action in the Gracanica-Concretically municipality in the village of Augustrica, based on information previously accepted that fortune-free games were allegedly organised in this country, as well as other activities prohibited by law.

As a result of this action, which has been conducted in assisting the Kosovo Police -- the Anti-Crime and Corruption Unit -- has been found to have run the casino activity in this country, with which the poker table, the two suitcases (cards) has been confiscated, and the manager of the bar has been punished with 30,000 euros for operating the ATK casino without license.

ATK through a media statement, has announced that also during the action in question, it has been found that bookies' activity at the same locals has been exercised, where inspectors have found printed billboards and ticket witnesses. Even for this part, ATK has issued fines worth 2000 euros, confiscated the found equipment, and closed the bar.

The total of fines pronounced during this action amounts to 32 thousand euros.

Criminal procedures will also be followed against responsible persons.
