Former Kosovo Liberation Army chief Hasan Preteni has said today he is guilty of the war veterans' lists, which are suspected to have been added groundlessly, are Hashim Thaci and Agim Ceku.
In a Facebook text, Preteni has stated that real lists of former KLA members have been submitted by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM). The IOM, after the war in Kosovo, was engaged in a large number of projects and research.
But, the process of verifying war veterans after independence, according to Preten, had been “entencious and political”.
“The real lists are IOM, war-torn organisations have been accepted by KPC. The whole process after independence is biased and political, put on the list and vote on the poor commanders who erode our freedom. God damn for life of 18x1... Preten said.
On Wednesday, a EULEX prosecutor has filed charges against several persons for various criminal acts, including veterans' lists fraud.
