President Hashim Thaci announces via Facebook that he has held a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
According to Thaci, they have discussed various issues such as dialogue with Serbia, demarcation with Montenegro and the functioning of the Management Team for drafting the draft for the establishment of the Association of Serb majority municipalities, Periscopi writes.
I just held a telephone conversation with Chancellor Merkel, who is a great supporter of the European perspective for all Western Balkan states. With Chancellor Merkel we talked about strengthening bilateral relations and the necessity of continuing dialogue on normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia. I assured him that Kosovo remains committed to implementing all agreements reached and reaching a legally binding final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia. Part of our conversation was also Kosovo's constructive role in the dialogue process with Serbia, the ratification of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro, and the functioning of the Management Team, which is competent for drafting the draft of the Serbian majority municipalities' statute of Association.
