Kukan Re-founds Support for Albania's Integration

Eurodeputti and European Parliament Foreign Affairs Commission member Edward Kukan has welcomed the European Commission's recommendation for the opening of Albania's negotiations with the European Union.

The Kukan Eurodeputi says he has welcomed and supports the commission's recommendation to open accession negotiations with Albania.

“I hope that soon the country will have a chance to start negotiations and promote reform processes”, he said.

The Kukan Eurodeput has stressed that Albania must make progress in rule of law and have tangible results.

“Albania must reaffirm progress in the rule of law and continue to produce tangible results in the fight against corruption and organised crime” said Kukan for ATSH.
