Discussions on the new name of the interior minister are expected to intensify by tomorrow.
At least that's what Vesel Makoli, AKR secretary, said.
Makolli said there hasn't been anything concrete so far. This is because of the weekend and the holidays.
“Pacolli has come Friday, and has taken care of his affairs as foreign minister. It was a longer weekend because of the holidays, and there wasn't anything concrete. Since tomorrow there may be something”, Makolli said about news.net
Days earlier, government spokeswoman Donjet Gashi had told the news.net that until the new minister is appointed, affairs will be conducted by the deputy minister.
She had said that the appointment of the new name for interior minister is in the hands of coalition partners.
“As far as the Ministry of Internal Affairs is concerned, it is a question coalition partners decide and until they decide, Deputy Minister” carried out this post, Gashi had said.
The dismissal of Flamur Sefaj by the interior minister had come after the deportation of six Turkish citizens from Kosovo.
Except for Sefaj, the AKI chief Driton Gashi was fired.
