In Info Magazine of Kosovo, he has said that the two states have nothing more to talk about about the Association of Serb majority municipalities, since even official Brussels has confirmed that it will form a carbon Kosovo Constitution and the Constitutional Court decision.
Some agreements have been reached. Some have been implemented, some stuck. I've taken this task with the idea that my mandate will be to implement old agreements. I believe that Kosovo has reached the level to complete this process, because we cannot go into a process when agreements signed in 2011 are not implemented today”.
We've gone three times to Brussels. The first time the meeting was not held due to Oliver Ivanov's murder. We had two meetings in February and March. We've been talking about implementing remaining agreements, association, energy issue, integrated border management, bridge in Mitrovica, justice and free movement”.
With Serbia we have mutual agreements guaranteed by the European Union. I think one of the mistakes is that this process has not been kept separate from other processes. The signed agreements should be implemented, because there is no reason for this to happen. We ask to meet quickly and talk about energy. It is unacceptable that this agreement is not respected, as well as keeping the bridge in Mitrovica closed. Even non-construction of border crossings is such. We call not the Serbs in Brussels to talk about Association, but other agreements that are not being implemented”.
On a formal basis, they do not respond to Belgrade. But that certainly will happen. They'll talk to Belgrade. But the document will come to the Ministry of Local Power and then be passed to the Constitutional Court. So it's going to pass all the necessary filters”.
Serbian officials think that the association will pass even Republika Srpska's competencies. But we, the Kosovo government, are the competition that this will not happen. The statue and directives will go to the Constitutional Court”.
