Allah Allah, cut off the heads of unbelievers

The media controlled in Turkey and Erduan knew nothing but national fury.

This is preceded by serial television praising the Ottoman Empire.

It seems as though these series are designed to consolidate the AKP's electorate (the Erdogan Party), in order to get more pieces from Turkey's largest electoral cake, from nationalists. Social media images prove that the government is still achieving the desired success.

In combat scenes of Turkish soldiers not only on battlefield echo calls «Allah, Allah», but also in the living rooms.

If fought against a Christian army (which is usually the case), viewers shout: «Cut off the heads of unbelievers! »

Some do not need to wield a sword in the eyes of an imaginary enemy. When you do that, you just don't like it. So men meet in neighborhood cafes and joyfully follow «the battle storm».

A Turkish news agency recently reported that men are wearing historical hero costumes when they watch «Dirilis: Ertugrul», series on the father of the Ottoman Empire. In a reporter's question about why they were doing this, they said to him in the microphone: «With these clothes we feel like we used to. It's like we're fighting, not actors».

It's not just a Turkish way to rembo-propaganda before the historical background, but worse: here the facts are coveted or censorshiped.

From Abdelhamit II, Sultan Osman, who lost most of the land, for example, may be heard this sentence: «Life we give, but not a span of land».

Indeed, during the 33-year rule of this Ottoman sultan, 1592803 square kilometers lost their presence in Tunisia, Egypt, Cyprus, Serbia, Montenegro and Romania, so they lost their presence in Europe and Africa. In Ottoman palaces rakia has never been missed.

There are sultans who wrote hymns for the summer. But religion - mixed nationalism no longer endures alcoholic beverages or even mention of it. As a consequence of the climate created by the government's censorship device, the word wine is covered in another tone in songs, whose lyrics 1,000 years ago wrote to Iranian poet Omar Kajami.

It's hard to be an artist in the country of those who are like them.

One film actress got fired because in an interview he had given a few years ago he said: «I'd love to play the role of a mother of a guerrilla warrior». Now no one has the guts to hire him.

The figures from the popular culture scene are especially taking a clear stand for the government so that they do not enter the midst of exclusive artists. During their visit with Erdogan at a border point, they sing songs for the moral support of the African offensive (in Syria).

Those with television series rewrite the story of extending their rule do not want to hear critical voices. They definitely don't want to hear it. State TV channel TRT broadcast the AKP convention during an eight-hour broadcast.

The Congress of Meral Aksener, which has the most chance of getting Erdoan votes, was not dedicated a second last week. State television funded with our tax money doesn't let anyone show up on the screen unless it belongs to the ruling party.

A recent news report showed that it is not just state television, which, although financed by all of us, represents only 50 percent of the country.

In one of my last letters, I reported that even the country's relatively free media group was sold to a close businessman with the government.

You're not wrong, of course out of our pockets. It became known that Turkey's largest state bank, Ziraat-Bank, granted the money stemming from our taxes as a loan to the ten-year-old legal businessman for payment, and to two years free from payment payments in order to make government propaganda with our taxes.
