Action in Rio de Yaniero, four people killed and 149 arrested

Four people have died in a police operation against armed groups in Rio de Yanniero, while 149 have been arrested, Brazilian authorities report.

Authorities have said this morning that, according to local time in the operation known as “Meduza”, 149 persons have been arrested, including seven minors.

Weapons, stolen cars, as well as police and military uniforms have also been found in this action.
