Labour and Social Management Minister Skender Recica has visited the seven Professional Training Centres in Pristina, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Prizren, Gjakova and Peja.
According to an MMPS report, Recica during these visits met many candidates, young and new, even some with final university and postgraduate studies who have attended and attended skills courses in various professions.
“Recica also met with many certified skills in areas such as tailorry, carpenter, hairmaker, graphic design, which, thanks to the skills courses they had previously followed in the QAP, have managed to find work or open their own businesses”, it is said in the Ministry's communique.
Of the centre's representatives, the minister was announced that most certified people manage to become part of the labour market and even employ others in the businesses they open up.
“We have held a week of promoting professional skills, visiting seven professional skills centres in municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo. I was fortunate to meet young and young, with skills and even university qualifications and postgraduates eager to gain knowledge and knowledge. I also met young and young people who, after training at these professional skills centres, have shown success, opening up their businesses even by employing others in these businesses”, the Labour Minister was quoted as.
As stated further in this communiqué, the minister has called on all young people, potential candidates and unemployed to register with the Employment Offices in Kosovo municipalities and present themselves to the Professional Training Centres, as an opportunity to become skilled in different profiles and become part of the labour market.
At seven professional skills centres, there are a total of 60 workers and 30 certified profiles.
In the September 2017 period March 2018, at the seven Professional Training Centers (QAP), training has followed a total of 3 519 candidates, meanwhile, have certified 2 432 of them.
During the same period in all state-level Employment Offices, 103 new job seekers have been registered. A total of 2346 people have already been involved in regular employment in active labour market measures, including 1 466 persons.
