He has said that as a new state, with the newest population in Europe, Kosovo is eager for knowledge, work, development and prosperity, presenting a great potential for investment. Reforms in all life sectors have been made in Kosovo, and the best confirmation of these achievements is the signing of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union, but also receiving the country's candidate status for the US Congress' MCC funds.
Both are evidence of our success in comprehensive reforms and the consolidation of the state of Kosovo. We're a country of constant economic growth, an average of 4 percent a year, since we've been a country. We have public debt stability and successful and sustainable banking system”, Thaci has said.
The head of state has also talked about building roads and highways linking Kosovo with the countries of the region and beyond, with the continent and larger ports, adding further that local production and product quality have steadily increased.
We have continued to open schools and universities to prepare labor forces, to be competitive in Europe. Today we see European and global companies that have come to Kosovo and are exploiting these capacities and potential Kosovo”, he has stated.
According to him, today Kosovo is a country that has closed the war chapter and is a focused state on development, co-operation and integration.
He has invited France's companies to look at opportunities to co-operate more in the field of economy, with mutual interest of both states, but also our entire continent.
