After a brief meeting with sick prisoners, the pope held the Last Evening Meal Mass and the ritual of foot washing with 12 prisoners from seven different countries in Regina Coel Prison this afternoon.
“Everyone is likely to change lives and not be tried”, the pope underlined that he considered himself to be “a fisherman “, in a sermon aired by Radio Vatican.
In Christian tradition, holy Thursday commemorates the day when Christ washed the feet of his apostles and created Eucharistia during the Last Evening Meal.
