The Western Balkans is a region which is geographically part of Europe, and can become part of the EU collectively. It's this statement by the Chief of Foreign Policy in the European Union, Federica Moghrini. In a status on her personal blog, as abcnews.al broadcasts, she said she had worked a week in Brussels about the crisis in the Middle East, and especially the situation in Syria and the Western Balkans. Moghrin further adds that it is time to close the wounds of the past and take steps forward to ensure stability in the region and throughout Europe.
According to her, she has talked with the six partners in the Balkans in Sofia. And it is agreed that in the coming months there will be a single window of opportunity to end Europe's divisions and unite the continent.
